Flying in the third trimester. Have you used compression hose?

If you've flown in or near the third trimester, how was your experience with or without them? I'm flying to Ireland tomorrow for part two of our babymoon and have a pair of compression hose but they're so tight, I might just skip them altogether. Thoughts?

I seriously use them all the time! I have a couple of light compression hose that are black and a couple of medium compression hose in pretty colors.

The medium compression hose I got off Amazon, and I will say that you have to get used to them before wearing them for a long time.

I only flew 4hrs total, but didn't use them. I never swelled though. I did get up to walk every hour.

I flew over 20 hours at 27 weeks and again at 30 weeks. Boy did they make a difference! I would try to put them on before taking off. They take quite a bit of work to put on and unless you're flying first/business class, you won't have much room to put them on.

I flew 10h at 34 weeks. Forgot the socks, but it was not that bad of a flight.
