Having a fever after having my baby two weeks ago

I'm so nervous because out of no where I have a fever after having my daughter two weeks ago, I don't know what the cause is, called my doctor and they are putting me on antibiotic, so now I have to pump and dump my milk for ten days. Has this happened to anyone ?
