A little rambling about a recent surprise...
I posted a while ago that I wasn't going to have baby shower because I wasn't close enough to any family or friends.
Last night my husband and I arrived at his parents for a visit before the rest of our trek to Florida and this morning my MIL informed me that she would like to throw me a shower, once we get settled in the new house and I'm closer to my due date.
I don't want to seem ungrateful or as if I don't get along with my in-laws, we just are just very different people/beliefs, etc however they have always been kind of me and if they don't like me, they never show it.
Her offer just kind of threw me off and I did accept because I was sad that I wasn't going to have a shower.
I guess I keep forgetting that I am part of another family now and this is their first grandbaby and of course they want to help out.
