Anyone else's baby cough alot?

He's almost 3 months now, he's always coughed but he's been doing it alot more the past few days.. nothing else seems to be wrong with him though, he's a very happy baby. Sometimes it sounds like he's trying to laugh when he coughs, it's so cute haha. But just curious if anyone else's baby does this? I'm a ftm so every little thing worries me.

My LO coughs all the time! She will seem like she is even choking sometimes. It's really thick mucous. Sometimes she will throw up a ton too. Scares me to death. Took her in to Dr, she said some babies spit up more mucous than others. She recommended the usual, upright after feeding, infant saline drops, keep her in bathroom with steamy shower, and to call if there is a fever. She said she will eventually grow out of it.

Could be a teething cough! When babies teeth they drool more that build up can make them cough! 2nd time mama over here :) if its a little cough it's more than likely ok if it's a violent cough take him in ASAP

Mine coughs a lot. I think it's related to feeding and spit up. He's acting normal and happy otherwise, so I'm just cautiously watching it. We went to the doctor for what we thought was a cold when he was 6 weeks old, and the doc said that as long as he was eating, sleeping, and didn't have a fever, he wasn't concerned.

I also forgot to mention he has reflux but he's on zantac for it so it never really seems to bother him anymore. He has a milk protein allergy, I think that's what was causing some of the reflux.

Get him checked out for asthma.
