Don't get me wrong I love my fiancè and everything about him, we got engaged a year ago... I'm happy with him! And I'm not ungrateful, I don't like my engagement ring because it is the same as his ex's ring!!! Am I overreacting? Sometimes I feel like he is trying to replace her with me. We've been together for 2 years they were together for 7 years and she cheated on him more then 5 times... He always talks about things they used to do together! What should I do!!!

Does he know how you feel? Communication is key in all relationships. Why not sit down with him and explain your worries and concerns. Once he knows how you feel, then maybe he will reevaluate how he treats you :)

I think you are right to be upset. And I disagree with the previous post. I dont care how much he may like that ring, it isnt about him. When a man goes to pick out a ring he should be thinking about that woman. Her personality her likes and dislikes. He should pick a ring he thinks she will love. And I highly doubt her and his ex have so much in common their dream rings are the same!! Have a serious conversation with him, I'd be really pissed. Just dont understand why you've waited so long to address this issue...

Honestly, you deserve better. The fact tht he gave you HER ring, and he still talks/reminisces about her means that he has some unresolved feelings about her. It definitely sounds like you're just a replacement. And any respectful man would know not to talk about his ex like that to the woman he is engaged to.
