I'm 36 weeks and tonight I was sitting down on my bed and felt a sharp pain down in my vagina. It was so random does anyone know what that could be? Or if it happened to any of you ladies? I'm a first time mom so I have no clue what these aches and pains mean.

It's called lightening crotch. Very normal. Just google lightening crotch and it will give you all sorts of info on it.

Either baby hitting your cervix or a nerve

It's prolly baby poking around down there. Can feel pretty strange and painful. Baby's grasp and punch is definitely stronger at this stage.

I have them occasionally, I think it's just the baby moving and hitting an organ. Nothing to worry about though they are just getting ready to enter the world. My obgyn said it's normal

I get needle like pains when the baby moves down there or like kicks or punches me.
