Is there such thing of a false positive?

So this morning I took a pregnancy test and left aside to do my hair. 
My husband and I had planned a fishing day and when we returned I remembered the test I took I the morning.
So many hours have pasted it I think I see a second line and he does too. It's very light but does it matter how I viewed the results hours after?

If it is outside the time window, it is invalid. Test again tomorrow with fmu and make sure you check within the time frame :) good luck :)

That's pretty much what happened to me today too with a Wondfo. I didn't see it in the "alotted" time but once it dried there was definitely a faint line (fainter than yours). I've done a lot of googling today and for the most part it seems like it's pointing toward being a BFP, but not sure to get hopes up yet. Good luck!

Doesn't hurt to retake but a line is a line. My last preg I never had a line until hours later and I just stared at it for two days in disbelief and thinking I was crazy. Finally went digital and sure enough, preg 1-2 weeks. Sadly it was ectopic but, even still, I was preg! Lol

That's not a positive test. That's an evap. Invalid test. U never read a test after 10 minutes at the most.  Much less a whole day. ..
U need to take another test.  Sit and wait for the result. Take a pic within 5 minutes of taking the test,  then trash the test.
