First ultrasounds?

Is anybody else scared or was anybody else scared or nervous about going to their first ultrasound because you're afraid of the unknown. Not knowing if there's going to be a heartbeat or not or if something wrong? 😔

I was so scared before my ultrasound because when we went in for my first pregnancy we were told I'd had a missed miscarriage. This time I had to go by myself and had a bit of a panic attack and ended up sobbing while they took my blood pressure before the appointment began because I was just so anxious. Luckily it all went find and I saw my little guppy on the screen measuring perfectly with a heartrate of 171! It's ok to be a little anxious, but try not to stress yourself out too badly!

I'm sorry you're scared, it's hard not to think of the negatives since we're over whelmed in this world with negativity, but something I had to learn is to keep a positive attitude, we women are the heart and neck of the house, so if we have a positive attitude it'll be contagious for the husband or any other family members.

Here in the uk we have to wait for 12 weeks. So long. I'm scared already. !!

Yes. I was so scared that I didn't enjoy it. But I saw their heartbeat and heard it. I felt so much better. I see them again in 3 weeks. 😊
