So my doctor is from South Africa and everything's been good up until our app this morning. She hadn't mentioned anything to me about finding out the gender so I casually asked when I could find out. She then got really mad and told me she does not let her patients find out? Then I proceeded to say that it's my right and I would like to find out she said she refuses me to be referred to find out because some people will have abortions if the gender isn't what they want. So this means that I will have to pay out of pocket to find out. I have a 18 week scan coming up in 2 weeks and I'm hoping that if I ask nicely they will just tell me. But just her attitude about this makes me kind of worried that she's putting her believes over what I want. Makes me want to switch doctors... Do you think I'm over reacting or should just just wait and see what happens. I'm not really one to get mad over things and this got me pretty flustered.
