Does this mean?

Does it mean anything when the baby has hiccups??? I've heard women talk about this for a long time and I just started feeling his hiccups probably a week ago and he has them like every day multiple times a day does it mean I'm getting close??or  it really doesn't mean anything?? let me know ladies

Not at all. I'm 34 weeks and have felt my little girl hiccuping multiple times daily since around week 23 I believe. She's already had them 3 times today. It just means that rheyee swallowing amniotic fluid and air which is normal. Shows that their lungs are working well. I asked about it at an appointment and that's exactly what my doctor had told me. ☺️

I nurse my baby when she has hiccups and they do right away. I felt her hiccup even in utero

Are you sure it's hiccups and not just kicking? It doesn't mean anything just part of the practice of them swallowing etc

Don't worry! It just means baby has the hiccups! It's just one of those weird things that happen in there. Totally normal!

My daughter had them multiple times a day too, and after she was born they continued, multiple times a day. The only problem is once they are born it can keep them up or make it hard to latch and feed during hiccups. I don't remember how long they lasted though

As far as I know, it means nothing. My doctor said that hiccups help to strengthen the diaphragm muscle which later help the baby breathe, but it doesn't mean anything bad or affect you in any way that I am aware of. I hope that helps! 😉
