Baby diaper sizes?

Question

How many diapers do we need of each size? I know every baby is different but i dont want to be unprepared..

Answer

A couple boxes of each.
Newborn, 1's, 2's. Maybe even a box of premies just in case.
You can always return and switch out if you don't use them

My baby went into size 1 diapers at six weeks. So happy I didn't listen to my husband and stock up on a crazy amount of newborn. Unless they are a good price really no reason to buy a ton

My son was in newborn for about a week and 1s for about 3 weeks, 2s for about a month, 4s for maybe 2.5 months and 5s till he was potty trained... (He was born at 9.9lbs and was 32lbs on first birthday)... My daughter was in newborn for about a month, 1s for another month, 2s for about 2 months, 3s for about 3 months, 4s for about 2 months and is still in 5s at 19 months but they are pretty snug on her...

My daughter was in premi for a week or two, newborns for a little over a month, size ones for a month and now size two's and might be put of them soon...at 5 months.

My son was in a size 1 after a week, weighing 8 pounds. He's 4 weeks now and a 1 is starting to get a little snug but a 2 is too big. He's about 11 pounds. It's so hard to buy  anything beforehand because they're so unpredictable!  The one thing I knew not to buy when I was pregnant was footy pajamas because my fiancé is 6'3 and I knew he would inherit that and he did! Lol

My lg was in size 1 for nearly 3 months but my lb was in them for about 3 weeks. Defo bought too many for him. The good thing about nappies is u can give them as presents at showers or make nappy cakes as gifts. They never go to waste really. Some shops will let u swap for the size u need as well. This time we've bought 3 pks of newborn and 3 packs of size 2. We'll just get more if/ when needed xx

My little one was born 6 pounds 9 ozs and she's only two months and we are already in size 3 because nb-2 were leaving marks on her legs. She's 11 pounds 6 ozs now.

I think we only needed a couple paid off new born, my daughter was born 8 lbs 9 oz.  After her belly button stub fell off, I think she started size 1, newborn ones have the little dip for the belly button while it heals. After that I don't remember, we definitely went through size 4 the most, probably a year's worth, size 3 we probably lasted 8 months or so, size 1 and 2 we went through quickly.
