Natural birth? Thoughts? Tips?😁🙏🏼

Hi! So I'm still really early in my pregnancy, but it's in my nature to plan ahead.😊 Anyways, have any of you ladies done natural childbirth? Would you recommend it? I want to know everything. I've actually heard more than anything that a lot of modern doctors will sort of push you towards c-section? I would rather not go that route...

I wish I had some advice for you, but I'm a FTM and haven't been through it yet. This is absolutely my plan as well though- natural birth and no pain meds. My doctor told me to look into hypnobirthing- it's a breathing and relaxation technique, sort of a form of meditation. I plan on taking some classes as baby's birthday gets closer.

My advice is go in with an open mind! You'll know pretty quickly if you can handle the pain or need pain relief. 
I've had a natural birth on a bed and a natural water birth. 
Water birth was amazing the contractions aren't as bad, it's just the best 😊

I had a natural birth in October 2015 and planning another one in December 2016. I would never not have a natural birth unless I needed surgery. Ask anything you want. I love talking about my experience and empowering women, which is not done nearly enough.

It's not easy but it's all worth it and you forget about how painful labor can be right after baby is out.  I believe it is a right of passage and numbing the pain isn't my cup of tea.  I want to know what my body feels like birthing my children.  I want to feel my body and baby working and avoid numbing anything.  My first was a natural hospital birth and my second was a choose unassisted/free birth. Avoid anything that's not natural like pitocin and make sure you are Stern when giving "nos" to the nurses and doctors.  They can get very pushy, that's why I avoided even going to the hospital the second time.  I knew I was going to be in pain and I didn't want to be pressured into any medication.

I had a natural birth with my son and will be having a homebirth in April. Hire a doula, it is the very best thing you can do for yourself if you want a natural birth. I had a doula, and then became a doula. I have helped 6 out of 7 of my clients so far have happy, epidural-free births.

Yes ive had an inductio. With drugs and an all natural birth and i would choose natural over anything ill be going natural again this time around. I tell everyone you should just try natural but keep an open mind because anything can change and never feel bad for changing your mind.  My close friend is a very natural person and she was in labor for over a day and wasnt progressing at all and her water had already broken so she got an epidural to try and relax her body and help her progress and it helped. Just do whats best for you. But i definitely say try it and stick to it and tell your doctor what you want.
