When my daughter was born 5 years ago everyone would comment "are you the baby sitter?" OR "is she yours" I am white and my husband is Salvadoran. We just had our second daughter and she is one week old today. She is white with light skin... now the comments are "are you sure he is her dad" or do they have the same dad? Ummm yes I'm completely sure she is my husbands. And yes the first is mine. They are both ours..! Genetics. I mean I cant see how people cannot see how possible it is to have one hispanic looking and one white looking child from two parents of both races. They otherwise look so similar but different colored hair and skin..
