Light bleeding

Yesterday I had a brown spot. Just one. And I was told that that was normal. Everything will be okay. Well, today I haven't been cramping much at all. My boobs aren't as tender. There was no spotting but when I went to the restroom, I wiped and there was light bright red blood. I wiped the 2nd time and there was nothing. I put my fingers into my vagina and, when I pulled out there was no more blood. I'm very confused and scared.
