Which ergo baby carrier is best?

So I was looking on babies r us at the ergo carriers. I was wanting to get this one with the infant insert that is included. Has anyone purchased this one? If so is it a good buy? A lot of the reviews say that it's good but the insert isn't super breathable and baby gets hot easily. A lot idk if I should get the 360 carrier where the baby can face outwards. Any input would be helpful!

The ergo adapt! You don't need an insert for a new born it's built in. Has just been released in nz so I'd assume it's out in the states already

I would get the 360. That way you have the option in forward facing. A lot of babies prefer it- if your little one does then you haven't wasted money on a carrier he/she won't like. I have many friends who have the 360 and love it for all the carrying positions. I got the mesh one to allow for more breathability. I am not die until September so I haven't used t myself yet but it comes highly recommended!

I honestly don't like the Ergo carriers because I find them too bulky. I used my sisters to carry her infant daughter around and it was clunky! I got the Tula carrier with the newborn insert and it is a lot less bulky and seems easier and lighter. And they go up until ~40lbs.

I think Tula is just a few dollars more than Ergo but I think size wise it trumps it.

I recommend finding a local babywearing group (babywearing international has lots of local chapters you can search for a nearby one online) they usually have lending libraries to try different carriers out. Buckle carriers (SSCs) fit everyone differently kind of like jeans can fit everyone differently

I'm pretty sure BRU sells the Lillebaby all season and I would suggest that over the ergo 360. You don't need an infant insert, it has extra lumbar support, can wear in 6 positions... and the ergo 360 has Velcro around the waist which would be terrible if your babe fell asleep and you tried to take it off without waking him/her. I had original ergo with my first, and LOVED it, but I got the Lillebaby for this one after hearing all of this --- and my son would've loved forward facing.

Forward facing isn't great for babies so I wouldn't worry about that option in a carrier. I have just the original. I did read that the infant insert can be warm but lucky for us we're having babies in the fall and would be using the insert during winter months.

I looooove my regular Ergo. I used the insert in the beginning and it was great. I remember reading that forward-facing isn't the best for babies so I chose the original. My daughter loved it!

I have the original organic carrier and my kid loved it! I didn't use the insert much because I mostly used a moby wrap when he was a newborn.

I almost got an ergo, but got 2 other carriers for half the price of 1 ergo. One is more for newborn stage and the other is for when they are a little bigger :)
