Any other moms with big babies around 35 weeks!?

Question

So I went to the doctor today and my baby's estimated size (at 35 weeks) is 7-7.5 lbs! He's a big boy...they basically told me I would be better off with a C-section due to his size and the size of my pelvis. Any other moms out there in a similar boat or have experienced this before??

I didn't really want a C section but obviously I would do whatever is best for the baby!

I never figured out how doctors measure the size of the pelvis. Just because you are thin doesn't mean you have a smaller pelvis, just less fat

My first son was a c section for this reason..... My pelvic opening is very narrow and my doctor has a hard time even checking to see if I'm dilating.... Her exact words were " if I thought he was 6 lbs I'd let u "try" for a vaginal birth" ..... My son was 8lb 3 oz at 39 weeks.... I love my doctor and trust her completely.... Hopefully u have the same relationship with urs

I think you should try vsginsl delivery first and if it doesnt work then go to the c section.
