Stripping the membrane???

Question

Anyone else dr suggest stripping your membrane? I'll be 36wks when my dr wants to start doing it due to me wanting to have a vbac and they don't want me to go full term due to my hemorrhaging in my last 2 pregnancies. I'm wondering if I should try prim rose oil next week before I have to go through the pain of getting my membrane stripped... Anyone else going through the same???

Please do not use Evening Primrose Oil, if you habe hemmhoraged once before... EPI has been known as an anticoagulant... it will thin your blood. Not a good idea for previous hemorrhage...

This is my 4th. I had membrane stripped with all 3. Little uncomfortable, but not painful and went into labor by next day. I have a new OB this time and wondering if he will or not. Will be 36 weeks in 2 days, so I'm waiting until I'm at least 37 weeks to ask 😉

I had it done with both previous pregnancies.  It's not terrible, but it is a little uncomfortable.

Same here am doing a vbac but is not my firts time doing it i had 2 childs already vbac and they were succesful but my doctor want to start doing a membrane sweep at 37 weeks.. I have done it before the membrane sweep and after a few hour of membrane sweep i go right in to labor ..

Okay, Im confused cuz I was just at my doctor yesterday and I asked if she would do that at 37-38 weeks and she said they aren't allowed to strip membranes anymore... I kinda wondered if she was just blowing me off cuz she's always like that...but I left crying. I'm so uncomfortable and my last doc stripped my membranes at 38 weeks with my son and he was born 24 hours later...

I had mine stripped with my first and honestly didn't feel a thing. Would love to do it with this one!

The doc stripped mine with my first and I honestly didn't feel a thing. If all goes well with baby, we will be stripping them again on 09/06. I say go for it!
