Random question for couples who have done SA

Okay so I'm trying to not get too nervous, my fiancé will be getting a SA next month (can't take time of work atm and our only clinic for SA is like 3 hours away so he has to take a day of work to do it) we decided to practice today aiming in a cup (i have a stash of those hospital collection cups from waaaaayyyy back when our son was born premmie and i had to EBM for him) aannnnd curiosity got the better of me so i assigned a syringe to his spunk lol and did some googling about colours consistency etc lol, anyways his colour was what google describes as normal, consistency was normal, the liquidation process it's supposed to go through withon half hour seemed normal, and he produced 5ml. So what are the chances he has good sperm? Like if the sample itself looks generally normal/healthy, can he still have poor sperm count/motility/etc. We are only 23, neither smoke or drink, he quit energy drinks for new years resoloution, pretty healthy overal however have been TTC over 2.5yrs now, it only took 6 months to conceive our son. I do have PCOS but have been managing that and bbt tracking and confirming i have the progesterone/ovulation surge every month so are exploring other infertility issues so getting him checked, hoping to organise a HSG next month for me etc. Soooo just wondering to other ladies hubbies produce good samples and have good results or did their hubbies produce what looked like a good sample but had poor results?
