3 car seats!?!

When my 3rd baby is born in August I will have a 4 year old and a 2 and 1/2 year old. We have a 2012 Ford Escape. How can we fit 3 car seats in 1 row? Is there any way or any specific seats that work? Anyone else dealing with this? TIA!

Im in the same boat, I have two kids both in booster seats, now expecting twins in sept.!! We only have a car right now, so worried about that, there's no way we can fit two booster seats, plus two infant seats!! Guess were gonna have to get something bigger, that can hold 6 people.

I tried mine out and actually got an evenflo infant seat, safety 1st ff car seat and a booster in my escape I'm feeling much better now!

My older two are in booster seats and it still doesn't fit. We plan on getting A third row seating car by the time baby is due.

Measure your backseat and research car seats online. The majority of them include measurements. Or Google "small carseats for compact cars" to get an idea of brands that offer narrower car seats.

I have a newborn, and four other kids ages 2, 3, 5, and 7. When we aren't in our third row SUV, I have the three youngest in my Altima. I have a Baby Trend infant seat, and two Cosco high back 5 point harness convertible car seats. The newborn is in the middle with her anchors braced into both outer anchors. The Cosco seats are anchored into the outside spots. They had two-three inches between each seat.

we have a pt cruiser!! with a booster seat for my 7 year old, a car seat for my 2yr old and then adding an infant car seat, poor things will be cramped lol we don't plan on getting a new car until honey graduates from the police academy

Whatever you do keep the infant seat in the middle it's the safest place. Go to carseatsforthelittles.com they are amazing for tips etc for each car make and model

If you're on facebook, there is a group called car seat safety for littles. It's run by car seat techs that are all certified and they can recommend car seats to fit your budget/kids ages.

I'm concerned I only have a lap belt in the middle of the back seat... Is that sufficient for an infant seat base??

I will have a 5 year old and 3 year old when baby #3 arrives. I've already tried lots of combinations and think the best combo for me is going to be.... A diono radian for my 3 year old, a Cosco backless booster for my 5 year old, and Chicco key fit for baby.

The radian is a lot more narrow than regular car seats which is the only thing making this possible (I have a midsize 4 door sedan). I'll attach the diono with the seatbelt (rather than latch) for a couple extra inches... Which will allow my 5 year old to buckle herself in from the booster in the middle seat (otherwise there is literally no room to get your hands down to the buckle!)

I tried putting the booster on the outside (and the Chicco in the middle), but there would be no way for my 5 year old to get her hands to the seatbelt latch because of the bucket base.
