Baby only wants to eat on one side???

So my son is almost 3 months and suddenly is refusing to nurse on the right side, and when I offer he gets really upset, I know I have a fast let down on that side but I worry he won't be getting as much if he only is nursing on the left side??? Any advice????

My son is 3.5 months and doing the same. I found out he will nurse on the right if I do a football hold though. So we just so that for the right and cradle for the left.

If you think the fast let down is a problem, try pumping or hand expressing for a minute before offering the breast. Make sure his positioning isn't bothering him. My daughter went through this phase with both breasts. It was annoying as all hell but she did get over it! Just keep offering the breast.

My daughters always had a hard time with my right side. I generally just keep trying until she latches. Make sure it's not to full. My right side has a quick let down too so it builds more milk up between feedings so it's usually a little tougher feel then my left side.

It's very possible to Strictly nurse on one side. It's actually kind of common too. You'll be a little lopsided at first so pump the other side just enough to get rid of the pressure and it'll even out. Or you can have babe nurse on the one side and pump the other. I
