What Constitutes FIRST Morning Urine?

My bladder is the size of a thimble, so I pee several times every night. Now, I know FMU is supposed to be the holy grail of hpt, so I want to do it right. Should I avoid going to the bathroom all night before testing, should I just make sure I don't pee for, say, 4 hours before I wake up, or does it not matter at all?

Answer

It's supposed to be your longest sleep because you're not eating and drinking during that period. If you get up at 4am and pee and go back to sleep and wake up at 8 then test then. Or if you get up at 8 pee and then just have coffee and toast for breakfast then test 4 hours later. You just don't want to drink and eat a lot to decrease the concentration of your urine.

Answer

Don't make yourself uncomfortable over it. You might get your BFP like a day later, but who really cares?
