Daddy-to-be gift ideas?

My shower is next weekend and I thought I'd get my husband something so he has a gift that's just for him. I know the gifts we'll be given will be for our baby but I thought a little something for just him would be nice. I know he's getting together with some guys during the day when my shower is. I figured I'd get him some cigars but I'm not sure what else. Anything practical or to help him prepare for our baby girl? 
He mentioned having to get me a present too but we just spent $3k on a king size bed and bed frame I wanted so that's perfect for me and I told him so.

I wanted to give hubby something like this, but make it a blue "daddy's hospital survivors kit," blue snacks, pjs, toiletries, even a blue picture frame of our ultrasound in it.  And instead it will say 
"Something out of the blue? Nope! Its a hospital kit for you! Because daddies deserve to be showered with gifts too!" 💙

I got my husband a huge beer mug that says "daddy's sippy cup" and a "dad bag" it's his own diaper bag which is basically an insulated back pack. He loves them!

My mom and I filled a backpack with a bunch of stuff  - wipes, little toy, sunglasses for the baby which conveniently match his dads😜, a book about a father and his son, a dad related onesie. Then we did some gag gifts - face masks, rubber gloves, noise cancelling head phones (my moms friend gave them to her), Advil, bandaids 
 
He really liked it, he likes to go on long walks with our dogs through the woods so the backpack was perfect.

If you use pinterest they have some super cute dad to be gift ideas. You could do a "tool kit" or survival kit with things he can use with baby, or snacks and treats for the hospital.

I'm thinking of getting mine his own diaper bag. They have them on Nordstroms and are messenger bags. That way he doesn't feel compelled to use the mint green one we have.

I made mine a diaper pail . Filled a cleaning caddy with diapers , wipes , pacifiers , a little rattle and what ever else you could need to entertain a baby and change the diapers .
