Ovarian cysts related to infertility?

I was diagnosed with some bad multiple ovarian cysts about a month ago so my doctor put me on the pill. She said it was so that I could "hopefully conceive later on in life". I was also talking to my coworker and she said her daughter got them and has been trying for a year to have a baby. She said with every cyst it becomes less and less likely that the woman will ever concieve. Is that true?

I had a cyst from the mirena got it taken out and put on the pill for a few months then got off and took us 4 months from stopping the pill 4 days in to get pregnant currently 18+6 with a girl
