Bleeding after Swab test

Ok, has anyone bled after getting tested for the group b strep where they swab your vagina and butt? I did it earlier and I went pee and wiped and there was a lot of brown blood. I called my doc and she said its normal to bleed after but I'm having cramps and feel like I'm on my period 😓 it's so uncomfortable.
