Baby Chee home coming outfit💙

After a difficult labor. My baby boy Ayan is home with us. Started off with a membrane sweep on my 40th week appointment. Two days after contractions hit. Went to the hospital that very night only to be sent home because I was 1 cm dilated. I didn't sleep at all that night because the contractions were intense. Next morning my mom, husband and I went to Sam's club to shop and get diapers (I ended up using a motorized cart) haha. Two hours later, sweating, crying and grabbing everything in sight I decided it was time to go in. Checked into the hospital and turns out I am 5 cm. I had a birth plan to have a water birth but the contractions were so bad I gave in to the epidural. Around midnight the baby's heart beat dropped and almost had a c-section but glad he came out before they had to. After delivery, I had a high fever so they did a blood culture on my baby. Couple days later the test came out positive for a possible infection and was taken to the NICU😞after my husband and I were discharged we spend everyday with him and breastfed throughout the entire stay. It was challenging at first because the nurses had a set schedule of feeding and he wasn't latching on at the beginning. Doctor talked to us about some good news and told us we could take baby home because it was a skin infection that contaminated the needle that showed up on the blood culture. Now he is here with us💙and we couldn't be more happier and relieved he's a healthy and calm baby. He is my 🌎🌍🌏my drive🙏🏽my purpose and my life. I love my baby boy.
