Lo loestrin fe ???

Question

Has any body tried lo loestrin fe??! I just switched from a higher hormone dosage pill to lo loestrin and I'm only a week and a half in to my pack but I'm having unbearable headaches, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and extreme bloating. Has anyone else had this experience? Will it all even itself out soon? I've already called my gyno and left a message. Still waiting on a reply, but in the meantime I thought I'd see what other real users of lo loestrin have gone through? Thanks!!

I'm on that  pill it just made me moody and emotional now I'm fine

I would wait to hear back from your doctor. I was on it for a month and switched to sprintec because it was covered under my insurance so it was cheaper. I just had bad migraines some days and these weird dizzy spells. Like most birth control pills the first month or so can be hard, it usually evens itself out. But it looks like you're experiencing some severe symptoms so I would talk to your doctor definitely.

I was on that BC for 3 years and had no side effects. But it works differently on everyone. Best of luck

I'm on it now. It's been almost a month. I get headaches too. Waiting to see if it subsides otherwise I'm going to switch to another pill

I switched away from loestrin because my symptoms were terrible (similar to yours) I felt emotional and I'll all the time and I wasn't getting my period even though I take 7 day breaks (it's reassuring to me). I had symptoms of pregnancy which freaked me out. All in all I wouldn't reccomend it

I had it and hated it. I had a period every 14 days and taking it made me feel sick.

I took it for 5 months and stopped. It scares the shit out of me because I barely had a period with it. It gave me a period for like 1 days and not even an entire day

I've been using that kind for years I did have little weird change I was sick feeling but that was bcz my body wasn't used to it but I've used it as the pill and the depo shot and I love it I recommend that kind of BC honestly... Those symptoms your having most people get that's what my doctor told me so I won't be as worried but if they do get worse talk to your doctor tho..... But Your body is different from mine but it did take me like a month for the sick feeling to go away I would say if your feeling sick and getting worse and it's almost two months definitely talk to your doctor shouldn't be taking that long for your body to adjust....

I just switched from mirena to the lo loestrin fe last Thursday (8/4). Started bleeding on Sunday and it's starting to slow. No headaches, a little crampy and a little bloating. More than likely it's just your body trying to get used to the new dose of birth control you are given.

I started taking that brand about 2-3 months ago. So far all I've experienced is spotting/breakthrough bleeding ( only cause I missed a pill ) , nausea & bloating.
