Sudocrem for hemmeroids

Gotta love this embarrassing topic! I think I've got a hemmeroid, I've got a sore spot in my bottom that if I press it a bit with toilet paper, it is bleeding. Does this sound like hemmeroids? Is it safe or effective to put sudocrem on it, or do I need preperation H?
