Okay so I'm 16 and I have very irregular periods. The other week I got my period two days late and it ended two days early. I'm pretty stinking lazy and didn't have a tampon so I put toilet paper up there for maybe 4 hours while I went on a (stimulating) date. Two days following, I noticed there wasn't any blood but instead there was a substance that looked like a bunch of small fibers mixed together and it was brown....then once I cleaned my insides as best as possible I noticed I had brown discharge. I know this isn't normal and I hate doctors..is there a way to check if I'm okay or to at least know what the heck is happening? And what causes brown blood? There wasn't sex involved or penetration and I'm not on BC. Please help
