Is there anything wrong with this?

We broke up for 2 months after 6 years. We have been working on things for a month now but he is away for work during the week so I only see him on the weekends. I offered to make him dinner tonight and my sister said I shouldn't do anything for him. I don't see the problem. We have a lot of stuff to work on and I think having a romantic dinner would be nice. What do you ladies think?

It sounds nice if you are BOTH truely trying to work things out. Hopefully your sister has your best interests at heart and is worried he's taking advantage.

Doesn't matter. One weekend you cook the other he should be taking you out. So long as it's 50/50 who cares. You should be continuing to make plan with friends as should he and living life and enjoying relationship
