Dairy Intolerance during Pregnancy?

A month ago I started noticing every time I consumed dairy I got gas, cramping and diarrhea. Now it's got so bad that even if I have something with a small amount of dairy I get very sick. Anyone else develop allergies during pregnancy? I'm 22 weeks

I now throw up every time I drink milk.
Eat apples or bananas too I throw up.
I have hyperemesis so I throw up alot anyways but those are extra bad on me

Yea!!! This happened to me!! It was so weird but yeah, weird things happen to our bodies when we're pregnant, including intolerance to certain foods we never had sensitivity to before. 😒

Its happened to me during this pregnancy.. I am drinking and using lactose free items and its helped me alot

Omg I'm going through the exact same thing at 24 weeks, I think pregnancy can make you lactose intolerant.

You can go to your pharmacy and ask them about lactase enzymes. They give you the enzymes you need that you're lacking so you can still eat things. Mine I can only take 2 a day so you need to budget what you eat still. I was lactose intolerant before pregnancy and found that once I was, my enzymes didn't work as well and I still can't eat cheese even with both pills at once. So I buy lactose free cheese, ice cream, yogurt and sour cream. There are options. So you don't have to miss out on the calcium. Make sure you mention it to your doctor as well.  Mine put me on extra calcium suppliments so I still got what I needed.  😉

This happened to me! I ate a blizzard from Dairy Queen, got incredibly gassy, and then threw the whole thing up. I'm terrified to even touch ice cream now. 😭

Yes my lactose intolerance got worse during pregnancy; also by the way it's not an allergy. An allergy to milk would be worse and more than just camping and diarrhea.
