Where is your newborn sleeping!?!?

Question

We live in a small house. Nursery is 5 steps away. Wondering where everyone is having baby sleep at night in the beginning? In your bedroom? In the nursery in their crib? We set up the pack and play in our bedroom(has changing table and sleeper) but kinda seems silly since  her nursery is so close! I'll prob want her in our room for a little in the very beginning but what is the point of the nursery if she's just sleeping in a pack and play in our bedroom!?!? Idk!

It is recommended that you room with baby for the first 12 weeks, but even without that the closer you can have everything for baby to you the better otherwise those five steps will seem like five miles after a week of only sleeping an hour or two at the time

Mine is going to either sleep with me or in his bassinet next to my bed.

I share the room with my baby but I did but a bed swaddle me bassinet where I can put the baby in safely if I have him sleep in bed with me.

I bought a bassinet that I put in our bedroom because his room is at the whole other end of the house. He will be in a pack in play when I stay with my mom.

Our nursery is literally in the room right next door but we're having our little one sleep in our room in a rock n play until he sleeps more through the night. Plus I know I'll want him close at first anyways so I can keep an eye on him.

We have not rven made it to a bedroom. We keep her in the livingroom in a bassinet rocker. That way whos ever turn it is to sleep can go to the bedroom but our nursery is at the other end of the house.

Bassinet in our room at first, mostly because I plan on breastfeeding and want to get to her quick to avoid my husband waking up. He just started a new job as it is, so I want him to sleep at night so when he gets home from work he can help/cook. Her nursery is right across the hall, though so I'll probably end up taking her in there when I get up with her.

Our nursery is right outside our room but she has yet to sleep in her crib.  The first night home I ended up sleeping skin to skin with her in the rocking chair, then on the couch, and the last two nights she's slept in a rock and play next to my side of the bed so I can actually sleep.  Not sure when she'll move into her room for the night since I did not plan on her ever sleeping in mine.

Our nursery is right across the hall & baby #1 slept in his crib from day 1. It was a great choice because he is has been an awesome sleeper.

I have a small house also. With my first I kept her in a bassinet in our room for a couple months while she was still feeding in the night. By three months she was regularly sleeping through the night, and I moved her to the crib. I'm so terrible with little sleep, it felt way easier having her right beside me for those middle of the night nursing sessions.
