Soooo, after working a double and going straight to class after I finally have a day offfff!!!🙌🏾 and I've decided to spend it in front of the tv and in my pajamas..... Whilst watching tv I stumbled upon two shows that not only peaked my interest but also made me confront my ignorance on my knowledge of their shared plots; escaping polygamy and sister wives. I realize that media has a habit of misconsruimg realist my and should not always be used as a point of reference. So, any (ex) or current Polygamist on here? What was it like? and why do people who no longer want that lifestyle need to "escape"? Why can't they just leave?
