bleeding & lack of protien correlation during pregnancy

Crystal

I was reading that we need so much protein a day as pregnant woman to support a healthy placenta. So I did some research and came across an article that suggests the reason why many woman experience SCH, bleeds of the placents, or unattachemnts during pregnancy is because they aren't getting enough protien in their diets.

I had a light bulb moment. I lost a baby from a placenta that hemorraged for 5 months during a pregnancy in 2005, another baby for a SCH at 9 weeks in 2014, and this baby I had a small bleed at 5 weeks that healed and I so thankful for! This baby is a fighter! After all that I'm a bundle of nerves, always.

I looked back at my diets in those pregnancies compared to my pregnancies that made it( 2 living children) and I can tell you I never focused on protien intake I always focused on folic acids and what foods to avoid! I used to be a vegetarian so for me even though I eat meat it's rare. With this baby I've been forcing the protien as much as I can eating alot of chicken and beans and rice even when I feel sick.

If your interested I know links don't work on here but here's the URL, it's interesting info and could save alot of woman alot of hardships if it's accurate.
