Should I be worried about zika virus in Los Angeles? Mosquitos just love to bite me everywhere I go😯

There has been a confirmed Miami. I don't believe there has been any cases in California yet

I work for the Red Cross and we currently only classify certain parts of southern Florida as Zika risk areas, though this will restriction will be lifted next week. So no where in the US it technically classified as a Zika risk area as of next week.

It's not in California yet. But I live in Northern California and I still don't even like to go outside. And mosquitos don't even bite me. If they bite you a lot I would just always be wearing bug spray.

Don't wear smell-good lotion, don't wear perfume, and keep a bug spray bottle or stick with you. You'll be fine. I love in South Louisiana (trust me, mosquitos are everywhere 24/7). Look up the essential oils that work as a natural repellent, so you'll smell good during the day.. but the bugs won't bite!
