Preterm Labor
I've been 3 cm dilated since last Wednesday (over a week) and I'm 37w1d today..... I was in the hospital from 7/31 to 8/10 due to bleeding and contractions. When I was admitted on 7/31, I was 35w3d and went in because of the bleeding (FTM worrying). When they hooked me up to the monitor, I was having consistent big contractions every 4-5 minutes, but wasn't feeling them. Within a few hours of being there, I lost over 200 cc's of blood (tmi, I know, but it was terrifying)! Fast forward--> The bleeding majorly slowed and is very little at this point. My dr said he would induce me on 8/11 (when I was exactly 37 weeks), but on 8/10 changed his mind and sent me home because my bleeding had almost stopped. I started getting quick sharp pains in my vagina that usually go away within 5 seconds and are much better when I lay down. Has anyone been in a similar situation?!?!? I need to know I'm not alone!
