Advice for FTMs

As
To all my ladies who have had babies in the past, we should list off things we had to discover that no one told us.
For me, I learned that using a syringe for medicine instead of a dropper was crucial. You can't control how much comes out at a time with a dropper as well as you can a syringe.
I also learned that my son didn't have colic early on, he just hated socks. He'd only tolerate Jammies on his feet, no socks or blankets or anything else, which explained why swaddling didn't work for me either. Sometimes it's not what everyone says it is, and you should try some other things.
I also learned that even with my bald son dressed in total blue, blue blanket, in a blue car seat, he still got called a girl. Some people are just oblivious, don't take it personal.
And finally, when burping a baby, tiny light gentle taps on the back don't do anything 😂 you have to be a little firm with your back pats or you're going to be covered in formula 👌🏻
Any other moms have weird stuff like this to add?
