Switching from the pill to IUD

Hey guys! I'm curious if there's anyone out there who has made the switch from the pill to the copper IUD? I switched about 4 months ago and I was very gung ho about it. I wanted to be free from hormones controlling my body and my mood. Turns out the pill was controlling those things more than I thought. Since I've switched, my acne has gotten pretty terrible. I've also started losing hair and my periods are becoming irregular. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm not sure what to do.
