Preeclampsia

So, I'm really swollen in my feet and I get headaches. I told my midwife and she told me to go to L&D so they can check me. They told me they found a bit of protein in my urine and now I'm doing a 24 hour urine thing to check how much protein I'm letting out. Now, my question is to women who had this issue. If I did in fact have preeclampsia, is natural birth automatically canceled out? Do I need to have a CS? I just really want to give birth naturally.
