HELP!! glucose test necessary?

I am in the process of changing insurance and I am 29 weeks. I am currently not covered and my new insurance hits in 4 weeks.... I know that the glucose test is typically done between 28-30 weeks. So far I have been healthy and have had no issues during my pregnancy and I have only gained 8 lbs. My blood pressure has always averaged around 95/46 (it's always low for me). Should I be worried about not getting the test done or can I get it done later than the "typical" window. FTM.

Yes I would recommend getting it done. My pregnancy was also healthy, not much weight gain and perfect blood pressures and I had bad GD requiring insulin. Not safe to put it off.

My first pregnancy was perfectly fine until 7 months and Boom!! Gestational diabetes and preeclampsia all at once. You need to get the test to make sure even if your pregnancy is doing great now, its better to catch it early than too late.

You should get it done As soon as u can ! & also you can go to the doc and get billed and from the day u file for insurance it works it just won't pay for anything until u get your cards and send the bill to the insurance place !

I think when it comes to something that could be very serious and life threatening you should consult your doctor. Only you and your doctor know your body best and what's the best medical route. I'd feel bad if I told you "it's no biggie" then something big happens.
