Any moms with babies who had IUGR?

My little Lyla June has intrauterine growth restriction. I am 34.5 weeks pregnant and am just wondering if there are any positive stories out there to help me ease my mind. Thank you !

I had my son in March at 36 weeks. They are way better out then in if you have IUGR! I kept pushing my doctor to induce me and finally they did. My little guy was born weighting 4lbs 13oz and has done nothing but eat since he has been out. He's now 4 months and is 14 lbs. you can still tell he's smaller then other babies his age but he's catching up nicely and finally on the charts. 😊 there's some pictures of him. He has asymmetrical IUGR so he has a big head (which I believe could also be genetics too lol). I believe it was the more common IUGR.

My year old daughter was born at 37wks due to IUGR. She was 4lbs 6oz and was in the NICU for only 5 days. She was little but that's it. Once she was able to maintain her own body temp they let her come home. I'm sure everything will be fine.

They are delivering my baby at 37 weeks due to IUGR (I'm 34.3 now) unless the growth scan this week shows no improvement, then it would be immediate. I've been kind of freaked out about it, but not much we can do, right? Best of luck to you and baby!
