Gender disappointment? Read this

My mother always told me that she never found out what she was having for two reasons:
(1) if God wanted women to know what they were having, he would have put a little window on their stomachs (I know this sounds funny but i see her point)
(2) she wanted a girl sooooo bad that she knew she would be disappointed to find out it was a boy even if it was for a split second. Therefore, she decided to wait until giving birth because she knew that once she saw the baby, she wouldn't care about the sex

She ended up having 3 girls and 1 boy :)

If you feel bad about the sex of your baby know it's normal... But always keep in mind that at the end of the 9 months, you will see a beautiful baby and you will love it no matter what it is!

1- if "god" wanted us to drive cars he would have plopped cars into Adam and eve's laps. Same with planes.  That kind of mentality is IN MY OPINION idiotic. There would be no evolution, no electricity, no nothing,  because "god" would have plopped them in our laps in the beginning of time. 
Just cause it was not available 30 years ago,  and women had to wait to know a gender, it doesn't mean it's a "bad" think because " god" didn't built us with a "window " on our belies.
2- even IF u end up having this thing they call " gender disappointment ", after ur child is born,  u will love it REGARDLESS of the gender.  As soon as u see them, the " disappointment" will fly outc the window.
NOW- people HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE. I'm by no means denying that. ..however, don't do it because of what someone else thinks is "right"
We CHOOSE to find out early,  for two reasons- one the baby registry was started at 12 weeks ( and I had to refill it 4 times over because people kept buying ), and we did not want to buy "gender neutral " clothes.  And two - i honestly would go insane if I had to wait the entire 40 weeks to find out. .
I firmly believe in DO WHAT U WANT- but I never supported nor was a fan of people being pressured into doing something because "god" or any other entity for that matter,  didn't give that option 6000 years ago. 
Do what u want.

I'm on my 3rd baby and my husband wanted a girl so bad for me I wanted a boy but would be happy either way I'm easy to please, well we went to the ultrasound and found out it was a boy and he seemed upset, I on other hand felt so guilty that it was a boy I was extremely happy but felt sorry that it wasn't a girl cause my husband wanted one so bad. It was weird and probly would of been better to wait the 9 months to find out but I couldn't help myself lol

There is no way I could have waited to find out!!! My siblings and I wore white and yellow for the first three months of our lives  since my mom couldn't get anything specific for one gender lol. I have one boy now and I want another boy soon! My husband wants a girl... I just tell him that whenever the time comes (hopefully very soon), I don't want him to feel sad if it's not what he wanted because maybe we are not meant to have girls (which I am 100% ok with)
