When does having a new baby get easier/more enjoyable??

He's 11 days old. We're BF and he's been cluster feeding the past few days.. I just wanna know if it gets better.

My baby is 6mo old and it's now getting easier. I shouldn't say that 🤔 she's becoming less demanding and more independent but harder in other ways like she needs more supervision bc she's grabbing everything and puts it all in her mouth, she rolls all over, she kicks, she sees stuff she wants and calls for it.. Being a mom, especially a new/1st time mom never really gets easier, the hard parts just change from one aspect to another. Breastfeeding is very demanding and they have a lot of growth spurts in the beginning. Just be patient-I promise that part does get better! 😘🤗🙏🏼

Lots of us call it 100 days of hell. So,  by 3 months things should be easier. That seems far away but blink and it'll be here I promise. One week at a time mama!  Between healing, baby only sleeping on you, latching, milk, infections, colds, lack of sleep,  it's hellish. You will survive I promise.

I always got told the first 8 weeks is the hardest . I was lucky and my milk came in real quick in a massive supply so my Bub only cluster feed for 3 days but my first few weeks were the easy bit, every body is different and find different part easier then others. To this day my hardest was still the 9th week.

The first few weeks are the toughest but I promise you it gets better! Don't give up! I'm ebf and in the beginning, I had extremely sore, cracked and bleeding nipples. It was so painful to nurse my daughter but I pulled thru it even during the cluster feeding days. She has had a great latch from the beginning so I told myself I wouldn't give up. Every baby is different so it may get easier in a week, a couple weeks or even month/s later.

I'm finding things are better at 5-6 weeks. Sleeping more and not feeding as often, and I got my first smile! That smile made it all worth it!

Cluster feeding can also mean a growth spurt. ;-) Ours is 3 weeks and he's cluster feeding currently. It's a tiring and a bit of a frustrating period... Just like teething.... and it sure effects both mom and dad (sleep especially).

I pump and will feed him a bottle when I need a break, I'm not OK with cluster feeding. Lol

It comes in cycles honestly. The first month is pretty tough, and then each stage of growth has things that make it easier, sometimes there are regressions that are pretty tough. At 5.5 months my daughter did a few weeks of sleeping 8:30-6 but then got a cold/double ear infection and was only getting 8 total hours of sleep in a 24 hour period for a few weeks, which was literal hell. We are now trying to get back to sleeping well again.
