Who lost their milk and when/why

I am 12 weeks pp....and my milk has almost completly dried up....so frustrated because i wanted to bf to a year, but i havd had to supplement with formula a lot lately i just have no milk and he was not getting enough. I have been trying everything...domperdone, fenugreek pills, mothers milk tea (hard to drink in 30+C) concentrated milk maker stuff in teaspoons (soooo gross) coconut milk and hydralyte to increase my hydration (both super gross)....and i still have barely anym..i think i am gonna lose this battle. And it used to be plenty.... Maybe stress from planning a wedding with a nb? Advice? ...photo for cuteness points ;)

I know you're busy but I agree with the person who said nursing vacation. The more you supplement the more you're hurting your supply. Even if you can't lay down ALL day at least maybe do a few hours.. just lay there and let him nurse and even when the milk is gone and hes crying hungry keep making him latch. I had to force myself to do this with my baby and finally after an hour or so my boobs took the hint!! Step by step

How do you know you're drying up? Babies go through a growth spurt around 3 months. Your baby may just be cluster feeding to get your supply up.

Take a breastfeeding vacation! You and baby just got lay and in bed and let baby latch and suck as long as his heart desires make sure to switch sides.

Try pumping more!!  Try pumping after every feeding and that will tell your body to produce more milk.

I lost my milk supply at 3.5mo. My mom has cancer and was doing very poorly. So I was under a tremendous amount of stress. I tried everything under the sun to get it back except the medicine they can prescribe you. Then my daughter got UTI and a kidney infection before I was able to get a prescription for the meds.  I didn't have near enough to keep her hydrated and full while she was sick and that added on to my stress.  So that kindof made my decision to stop and go to formula. Please DO NOT beat yourself up over it! There is absolutely nothing wrong with formula feeding. Fed is best!! 💞

As the girls above have said.. U have enough to worry about. What's important is your baby is full and happy and loved. 
When you can, do the nursing vacation but until you can have a day where you can fully concentrate on being skin to skin with your baba and try again, don't feel guilty! Formula is NOT bad!!! It's just not AS good as breastmilk. Babies thrive on both so don't beat yourself up because that's also going to hurt your supply xx

Did you start any form of hormonal contraception? If yes, stop it! Research has shown it has a negative effect on a mother's milk supply!

I planned to exclusively breastfeed but my milk didn't come for almost a week PP. in that time I have to supplement and feed her through a tube and dropper. I eventually got the milk and breast fed for about 3.5 months. I ended up going camping for one night. I went to pump and nothing came out. I kept trying to pump but still nothing. So I just ended up formula feeding from there out. I was super depressed because I didn't reach my goal. But my baby is happy and well fed so I am happy. Some peoples bodies just stop producing milk. It was around that same time that I had started my period back which may have been a factor but I went 2-3 days after pumping and barely pumped an oz a day. Good luck I hope you can figure out what is going on. If not formula is still an option ☺️

My milk is almost completely gone. I am 11 weeks pregnant and my daughter is 5 months. No amount of nursing and pumping saved it. Talk about depressing.
