Rodeo boob?

Ok im cracking up right now but i dont know how else to describe it 😂 anyone elses LO do this? I think it might be during growth spurts...she latches for 2 seconds, violently pulls off the boob with one hand in the air (for balance?) like shes riding a bull, then latches back on. She does this over and over throughout the feeding session. Shes been doing it a lot lately (4 months old)...any ideas?

Mine does it all the time he will be 4 months on the 19th. I am not sure what to do either. I feel like he isn't eating as much. Maybe I have more milk now and it is flowing to fast for him

My son does this when he is just playing and he will smile when I sit him up. Otherwise, the only other time he does it is when he is fighting falling asleep.

My lactation consultant told me that if towards the end of a feeding he latches on and off repeatedly it's because he wants to suck but does not want milk and to give him a paci. Been working like a charm!

Hahaha my son has been falling asleep while nursing lately, 😫😢, but towards the end he will pull the nipple and turn his head and let go of my nipple 😂😂 he will do it like 4-5 times in a row and then finally fall asleep. I crack up every time 😂😂

My fourth month old also does this. I'm wondering if it's because she's more aware now and she gets distracted more easily unless she's starving.
