Doggie Day Care

We usually send our dog to day care once a week to run off energy. I was thinking of sending him everyday the first week home with the new baby. Do you think that would be bad for their bonding? I don't want to change his routine but it would be nice to not have to worry about him for a few days. He'd still be home every night to get use to the baby he'd just be gone during the day.
