Ultrasound????

I was told I can't get an ultrasound until 18 weeks....WFT!!!! 😡😡😡How would I know if something is wrong with my baby. I'm so sad😔

Each OB policy of different. If you don't like that I suggest you shop around!!! 
I had my 3rd today I have a history of loss tho. My next won't be till 20w.

If you know when you conceived then 20 weeks is the normal first ultrasound for everyone

I'll be 20 weeks Wednesday and Thursday will be my first ultrasound. My OB doesn't do one before then unless you're high risk or have had issues. My sister, who is in the medical field, says it's better that way....there's a higher risk of causing problems with the baby if you have a ton of ultrasounds, especially early on.

Ehh thats crappy, you should at least get one in the first trimester, i just couldnt go that long without at least one

That's bs! Where do you live? I've had about 8 different ultrasounds and I'm 24 weeks. This includes one at planned parenthood, a few at different hospital visits and I'll be having my third ultrasound since my 19 week anatomy scan since they couldn't get all the pictures they needed. I have a stubborn baby lol. My point is, your dr shouldn't be having you wait that long. Hell, by then you could know the gender. That's just rediculous.  I'd call around to different drs offices and before u set up an appt, ask when you can get an ultrasound so you know what you're getting into. Gl mama!

That's crazy! Can you try any other clinic? I can't believe they want you to wait nearly half of the pregnancy!

13 weeks and still no ultrasound!! Next appt I'll be around 16 weeks. Not sure when I'll be getting my first ultrasound but got to hear the baby's heartbeat at 12 weeks using the Doppler! A strong 160!

I would look for another OB if you don't like that
