Is it weird for a condom to make you dry?

So i normally practice the oh so safe pull out method, but last night i was with someone and decided to use a condom.. It was weird bc i was super wet at first but for some reason after a lil bit i got super dry... Like i felt horny but couldnt get wet which is weird for me bc im usually dripping 😒 idk if it was his condom or what bc ive used condoms before and neverrr had this happen.. Or could it have been me? Also i was high af, could that have affected it?
