spotting

About a month ago I took a pregnancy test and it came back positive so I made a doctor appointment to reassure I was. They drew blood and gave me my results, which came back negative...... I was so sad and disappointed but I just told myself it was ok that the time would come. My period is now late by a week and I have all of the pms and some spotting every now and then.. So if I'm not pregnant should I be worried? Keep in mind that I have not had sex since I took the last pregnancy test
