Behind on milestones?

At my baby's 4 month appointment, the nurse asked these questions:

Is she rolling over?
Is she laughing?
Is she passing objects from one hand to another?

My answer to all of them was no. I didn't think my baby was behind, but I guess so? She rolls onto her side, but can't quite flip yet. She's a talking/interacting fool, just not laughing yet. She is good at reaching/grasping/bringing to her mouth, but can't switch from one hand to the other yet.

Baby is happy and healthy and will do things on her time, not ours. Don't stress about it. I have 7 and none of them did everything exactly the same.

I honestly can say no to all of those questions as well. I have been working with him on rolling over and claoing, making a big deal while we work, but they do things on their own time. My LO will be 4 months Friday the 19th, and my doctor keeps telling me not to expect him to do the same things as a normally gestational 4 monther, because my LO was born 6 weeks early. In not buying into that. He IS grabbing objects and bringing them to mouth, he IS rolling to his side, he IS making noises and talking to us and his toys, he IS smiling, he IS learning to sit up. This momma is looking at all the things my baby IS doing, not the things he is not. He is happy and growing and doing things at his own pace, just like your baby is. Don't stress it momma, we have enough to worry about!

Every baby is different don't worry about it! My 15 week old could roll from very young but has now stopped doing it and crys every time I lye her down. She laughs but I really have to work for it and she has to be in a good mood! She's only just learned to hold a toy and bring it to her mouth she's no where near passing it from hand to hand. She will do things in her own time 😊

For most, they don't even pay attention to milestones like that because every baby is different and it just freaks parents out. She may be doing none of that today, and all of that tomorrow. The things that would be far more worrisome would be if she was regressing at all, or having any issues with muscle strength. My son will be 4 months on the 28th and still isn't rolling (probably my fault). I'm not stressing cause he is far more concerned with figuring out how to sit up and maintain his balance. Think about it this way...there have been people for thousands of years and they didn't worry about milestones for most of them.

I agree with the others that it's not something to stress about as long as your baby is making progress!

Mine didn't roll over for the first time until a couple of days before her 4 month appointment and can only roll from tummy to back.

My LO smiles a lot and does not laugh, rolling over she is not there yet either! And passing toys from one hand to another?!?? You gotta be kidding me she has not even started reching for toys... I am really worried! What should i do to make her learn

My little girl is 4 months old and cannot roll yet, she goes to her side but cannot flip. She laughed once last week but hasn't since and doesn't pass objects between hands either. Each baby is different and does things at different stages. I can tell she is wa to g to roll and laugh ect she is just not quite there.

My son can roll to his side like a champ but can't roll to belly. He does happy screams but doesn't really laugh. He'll hold things with two hands and bring them to his mouth, but doesn't pass from hand to hand.

He turned 4 month yesterday, his appt is tomorrow so I'm sure I'll be hearing it from his doctor

Mines been cracking up laughing since 9 wks old and laughs in his sleep 😄he can't roll over or pass things from one hand to the other yet and he's 4 months this Saturday

I have to work to get my baby to laugh! She smiles a ton but only laughs when I "eat" her belly.
