Why????

Why is it when I post something, and I'm talking about my SO, I specifically say FIANCÉ and when people comment they're like you're "boyfriend". Idk why this gets on my nerves, but it does. I have the ring on my finger to prove we're getting married. He's my fiancé.. Not just a boyfriend. Just cause we're not married yet, doesn't make the title fiancé any less.

Why does it bother you that much? I totally understand that he's your fiancé, but something people forget. It's not like people do it on purpose. At least I don't think they do. Sometimes I refer to my boyfriend as my hunny, my hubby, my SO, and plainly my boyfriend. I don't think it's something to get so upset about, but you have your right too. Like I said, I don't think people do it on purpose.

It annoys me more when people refer to their SO as hubby or wifey when they aren't married. Like no. You don't know the pain of being married, you don't have a right to use that lol

It annoys me when people assume everyone who's having a kid has a husband 
"Post cute pics of your hubby and baby"

Been with my BF nearly 6 years, both of us were married to others previously and we don't feel the need to rush in again. Just bugs me so much people assume we must be married.

When people ask me about my husband ("what does your husband think of what you post?") I usually say he probably has no idea and I have no intention of asking him, having not spoken to him in over 6 years.

I think it's more respectful and inclusive to use partner or SO. Takes gender out of the equation too...
